The “OFFER Experience” is a multi-faceted, dynamic program that engages local and national businesses to provide real employment outcome based work experiences to youth with disabilities.

SAMPLE “OFFER Experience”

Each student enrolled in the “OFFER Experience” program will be provided the opportunity to tryout jobs in up to four different industries throughout an academic year (example: distribution, call center, hospitality, retail).  Students will experience multiple, on-the-job positions within participating companies.  The length of time students spend in each industry/company/position depends on their individual needs, their performance in the tasks, and feedback from the company.
Each student will be evaluated at the end of the position session on their growth in skill in that position, ability to perform the tasks of the position, as well as their interest and enjoyment in that position and at the company.  At the end of the academic year, that data is gathered, analyzed, presented to both the student and the company to determine if a match for employment is made.  If so, a real employment offer is presented by the company with the greatest match for employability.
